Governing the surgical count through communication interactions: implications for patient safety
R Riley, E Manias, and A Polglase

It has been brought to my attention that there is an error in my publication in your journal. The title of the article is: "Governing the surgical count through communication interactions: implications for patient safety" (October 2006). In paragraph 3 on page 369 I wrote " ... the reporting of sentinal events is mandatory for public hospitals in two Australian states, New South Wales and Victoria". This sentence should read " ... the reporting of sentinal events is mandatory for public hospitals in Australian states".
